CRAGG VIEW is a beautifully situated two bedroom bungalow in Grange-over-Sands, with some of the best views in the Lake District. It is an ideal basecamp for walkers, who can access all the famous sites and walks in the Lake District.
Overlooking the whole of Morecambe Bay, Cragg View is moments away on foot from the town centre, with its array of tea shops, restaurants, takeaways and the railway station. In the other direction Cragg View is a 10 minute drive from the town of Cartmel, home of Sticky Toffee Pudding, the famous horse races, and of course L'Enclume with its three Michelin stars! After all that walking, you can reward yourself with some delicious fayre.
If you drive 10 minutes further, you will reach Lake Windermere and be able to enjoy the scenery, large ferry trips to various destinations around the Lake, or hire your own little boat for a few hours! There is also kayaking, walking, water skiing, outdoor adventure centres, restaurants and of course Beatrix Potter activities!
By car Grange-over-Sands is easily accessible from Junction 36 of the M6. By train, change at Lancaster for Grange-over-Sands. There are also regular bus routes through the town.
